State Representative Stan Kitzman of House District 85 today released a statement declaring his decision to seek re-election to the Texas House, reaffirming his commitment to serving the hardworking people of Austin, Colorado, Fayette, Fort Bend, Waller, and Wharton counties.
As many of you know, last week the Texas House voted to advance impeachment. I have had conversations with many of you that I am grateful for. That is why I wanted to sit and write a through statement on my decision, so that everyone in our district understands why I made the decision to advance the articles of impeachment to the Texas Senate for trial.
I hope this message finds you well. Today, I am reaching out to you to discuss a matter of significant importance unfolding in the House. We are faced with the potential impeachment of our Attorney General, Ken Paxton.
